American Legion Hall

Offically named the "Marvin G. Shields American Legion Post 26," commemorating a Port Townsend Medal of Honor recipient, the facility was built in 1941 as a USO dance hall. Besides serving the local veteran community, it also hosts public events, meetings, and community activities. The newly renovated ballroom offers 2,800 square feet of original birdseye maple hardwood floors, an elevated stage, and full on-site bar. The hall is located in downtown Port Townsend, within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and hotels.
